100 movies 2013 - half-year update

i recently came across this idea on sanne of booksandquills blog, where she documents every film she watches throughout the years and aims for 100. that works out at around 2 films a week, which isn't that bad, and seems a lot more doable than the 50 book challenge, so i decided to give it a go. in sanne's lists she counts re-watches but i felt that i'd get more out of the challenge if i tried to watch 100 films i'd never seen before.
it's the middle of the year right now and so far i've watched 50 films, so i'm exactly on track. this a list of the 50 films i've watched and i'll let you know how i got on for the rest of the year at the start of 2014! x
