review: max factor lipfinity lasting lip tint in 'marshmallow'

max factor lipfinity lip tint in shade 05, 'marshmallow' - available to purchase here and here. 

i'm not a big makeup wearer, so when i buy lip products i mostly like them to be subtle and to look almost natural, which is why i always opt for a lip tint rather lipstick. i've owned this max factor lip tint for nearly two years now (which probably breaks all sorts of beauty use-by-date rules, but i love it and it's not done so i'm not going to waste it!) and i feel like i've gotten to the point where i can fully express my feelings for it.
firstly, this lip tint tastes HEAVENLY. this is so important to me as i will absolutely never wear any lip product that doesn't taste nice, because at the end of the day, it is on my mouth, and if i don't like it, then i won't want to put it on. this, however, tastes like berries and it is so delicious; sometimes i put it on just to lick it off, that's how much i love it.
the colour pigmentation is not great, let's be  honest. when you first apply it, you get quite a strong colour, but once it sets and has been on your lips a while, it settles down to a more natural shade - which is not a bad thing, but if you're after bold lips then this isn't for you. it also comes off quite easily when eating, drinking, or just going about your day, but it does leave a really nice flushed effect to the lips that looks like you've just been eating a box of raspberries or something equally as pretty-sounding.
other than the staying power, it is pretty much perfect. it doesn't bleed from your lips, it doesn't smudge, and it is super moisturising. personally, i absolutely love it and would repurchase over and over again.
